It’s never been easier to take the perfect photo for your Instagram feed.
iPhone users can cleverly select items and remove the background thanks to a recent update.

But what about Android users?
The Google Photo app doesn’t quite offer anything like this.
Though the Google Pixel’s magic eraser tool is pretty special.
Instead, you could try downloading a dedicated app to do the hard work for you.

One popular option is PhotoRoom Studio.
It’s free to use to remove the background though some advanced tools cost via in-app purchases.
A small watermark appears in the corner unless you pay to remove it.
More than 10 million people have already downloaded it.
And the reviews are mostly positive, with a rating of 4.7.
How to remove the background from a photo on Android
Firstly, download PhotoRoom from the Google Play Store here.
Open the app and whizz through the tutorial.
Find the Create tab then select Start from Photo.
Pick your photo.
Then the app will get working.
Of course, the clearer the photo the better it’ll work.
And the same goes based on how prominent the subject of the photo is.

You can now add one of the different backgrounds on offer.
There are also other basic tools like adding text and resizing.
