One of the common traits of Ange Postecoglou since arriving in Scottish football has been his ways of dealing with the media in Scotland.
Celtic extended their lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership once again at the weekend after the 1-0 victory away to Aberdeen.
Postecoglou’s side were in total control of the game and got what they deserved after captain Callum McGregor popped up with a late winner on the 87th minute to give the Hoops all three points.

NEW FLAGSHIP POD
One of the most outrageous stats that came out after the game was that McGregor had completed more passes in the match than the whole of the Aberdeen team which sums up the control Celtic had in the game.
In Postecoglou’s post match reaction he was once again very quick to correct a reporter when asked about his reaction at full time.
He was asked if he was feeling ‘delighted’ and ‘relief’ after the win at Pittodrie on BBC Sportsound, which he very sharply replied to.
“Delight? Yeah. Not relief.
That’s as dominant as we have been in a game of football away from home in a difficult place.
“We got our goal late but I just thought our approach the whole way through, our discipline, we didn’t get frustrated, we made them work hard.
“I think they had one shot at goal but as a performance, I couldn’t ask any more of the lads and even though we didn’t win more comfortably, and we should have, when you win 1-0 in that manner just shows the discipline and the belief that boys have in the way that we play.”
It is almost as if muscle memory kicks in for Celtic late on in games as they continually push to get a goal.
Postecoglou’s motto is ‘We never stop’ which couldn’t be any more reflective of this Celtic team as they always keep going until the very end which is ultimately why the Hoops have only lost once in their past 48 matches in the league.
