Rag’n’Bone Man will be making a special visit to Walford for Christmas in EastEnders.
Soap bosses have unveiled their first appearance at the musician performing in Albert Square as part of Mick Carter and Janine Butcher’s wedding reception at Friday’s (December 23) festive episode.
Rocky Cotton manages to convince Rag’n’Bone Man to become an impromptu bandleader for Mick and Janine when he drops into The Vic by chance.

The Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter’s arrival in the Square comes during a tense time, as viewers know that Danny Dyer is set to exit as Mick at Christmas. Charlie Brooks is also starring as Janine.
We have always known Rag’n’Bone man is a huge EastEnders fan, so when an opportunity came up in one of our stories it was the perfect moment for us to ask him to not only appear, but also perform at Albert Square,” producer Chris Clenshaw said.
We are all thrilled that he said yes, and we hope the audience enjoy the special Christmas treat, as much as much as everyone at EastEnders Enjoyed having Rag’n’Bone Man in Walford.”
Not much is known about how Danny will exit the show, though it has been revealed that Mick’s final storyline will involve a dramatic Christmas car chase scene.
Mick’s mum Shirley is determined to prove Janine has been lying to her son for months – viewers know Janine has previously broken up the Carters’ marriage and framed Linda for drink driving.
