The Traitors viewers spot show error that reveals Faithfuls

The Traitors is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about shows on TV at the moment, with millions of people looking for every little clue that proves someone is either a Faithful or a Traitor.

Of course, with millions of viewers pouring over every scene, it’s not surprising that people may have spotted things that the contestants — and possibly even the producers — didn’t notice.

As pointed out by fans on Twitter, the last person to come down for breakfast has always been a Faithful. Now that the formula has become public knowledge, it’s likely that it’ll have to be changed for the second series as it could help participants identify fellow Faithfuls.

Author and former doctor Adam Kay tweetedHas anyone noticed the slight format error in The Traitors? If you’re a contestant, you can confidently assume the person coming in last for breakfast is a Faithful.”

many other viewers had the same thought, with one writing: “If they thought about it, the faithful would know there needs to be tension between the last two people that could come down for breakfast. Which means: 1. Neither of them are traitors. 2. They were both possible murder targets.”

Another agreed. tweeting: The flaw with The Traitors is that the last person back at breakfast is confirmed as a Faithful because the producers are obviously going to want to create tension for the viewers.”

Before we get to a second series of the UK version, an American version has been announced with a cast comprising both civilians and celebrities including Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Celebrity Big Brother star Brandi Glanville, Below deck‘s Kate Chastain, summerhouse‘s Kyle Cooke and Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte.

The UK series only has two episodes left, with its penultimate episode tonight (December 21) and the final airing tomorrow. If you want to have a go at being a Faithful or a Traitor yourself, an official card game based on the show has already been released for you to buy.
